Ukuleles

We’re putting on a community festival at Bondi Pavilion on Saturday November 16 and we want you to join in our massive all-in Ukulele moment during our GALA.

Whether you call it a Plink, a Clump, a Garland, a Charm, a Mass, a Band, a Flash Mob or an Underarm of Ukuleles, this is going to be one of the highlights of FESTIVILION. Led by self confessed ukulele obsessive Dr Caroline West and her merry band, the wonderful Ukelles, bring your ukulele, mandolin, and singing voices and join in our big-play-sing-plink-thing. Could we beat the world record of ukulele players at Bondi Pavilion? Yes we can!

What to bring: Bring your ukulele of course, and singing voice, friends with ukuleles, friends who like ukuleles, friends who like singing along to ukuleles, friends with small stringed instruments that could pass as ukuleles.

What to learn: Learn easy to play chords and words to classic use songs Bad Moon Rising and You Are My Sunshine. See the links and charts below.
